Auditor Conduct Policy

Auditing a course at Bryn Athyn College is a privilege extended at the discretion of the instructor and the College. Auditors are expected to uphold the same standards of conduct as enrolled, degree-seeking students and to contribute to a respectful and constructive learning environment.

Because auditors are not earning credit or grades, their continued participation in a course is contingent upon appropriate behavior and adherence to course norms. Auditors are expected to:

Respect the authority of the instructor and the integrity of the course structure.
Avoid dominating class discussions or otherwise disrupting the learning experience of enrolled students.
Follow all College policies, including those related to classroom conduct, academic integrity, and community standards.

The instructor, department chair, or deans reserve the right to limit an auditor’s participation or to withdraw permission to audit a course at any time if the auditor’s behavior is disruptive or inconsistent with these expectations.
